Job Description

MasterTech is on the search for experienced Heavy Equipment Technicians (421A or Apprentice) in Hamilton ON.

Mechanics will be responsible for the maintenance diagnostics and repair of a diverse fleet of heavy duty equipment (construction earth moving aerial lift cranes etc.). Work will be completed in shop including heated floors spacious and very clean environment.

Compensation:
  • $40.00 $42.00/hour to start for licensed Mechanics performance raises available. $33.00$35.00/hour for level 3 Apprentices or equivalent.

Shift:
  • Biweekly rotating morning and afternoon shifts Monday to Friday.
  • 2 weeks 7:00AM 3:00PM
  • 2 weeks 3:00PM 11:00PM
Key Qualifications:
  • 421A license or 3rd year apprentice. Experienced/NonLicensed Mechanics who are ready to write exam are also welcome to apply.
  • 3 years of experience working on heavy equipment.
  • Good understanding of mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficient with OEM diagnostics.
  • Own set of tools & valid drivers license.
