Position Overview
A wellestablished irrigation sales and service provider in Nebraska is seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing and repairing agricultural irrigation systems including center pivots and pump controls. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose troubleshoot and repair center pivot irrigation systems and pump controls.
- Perform maintenance and service on a variety of agricultural irrigation equipment.
- Utilize GPS and electrical system knowledge for efficient repairs.
- Manage time effectively and work independently in the field.
- Maintain and transport personal hand tools (major service equipment and a company vehicle are provided during working hours).
- Follow company safety and operational standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Farm or agricultural background with strong mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with electrical components pump controls or welding is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with GPS systems is a bonus.
- Detailoriented selfmotivated and able to work independently.
- Clean driving record is mandatory.
- Preference given to candidates from Central Nebraska or those looking to relocate to the area.
