My Community Homes (MCH) provides quality uptodate singlefamily homes for rent (SFR) around the country. Meeting the needs of today s renter we offer family homes that are wellmaintained close to job centers and near toprated schools. MCH is located in Miami Florida and our core business revolves around SFR acquisitions renovations and rentals in the most desirable locations across the United States. The Company started in 2021 and has already become a national success in the SFR space.
Essential Functions
As a Maintenance Associate you will be the driver behind daytoday maintenance operations. You will be collaborating with internal teams and our external maintenance and property management partners to ensure we complete maintenance requests on time within budget and to a highquality standard.
- Act as the primary communication link and liaison among MCH our contracted maintenance service providers and property management teams to ensure seamless coordination and effective service delivery.
- Identify potential resident chargebacks ensuring that appropriate charges are assessed and documented accurately for any damage or maintenance issues attributed to resident activity.
- Review and evaluate bid proposals that fall within the approved financial threshold assessing their feasibility and alignment with the company s requirements and budget constraints.
- Approve dispatch requests promptly to facilitate timely action and address maintenance needs effectively.
- Respond to incoming requests for information providing clear accurate and prompt feedback to internal and external stakeholders as needed.
- Notify the Maintenance Manager (MM) to conduct a review if there is potential for a job to qualify for a credit ensuring all such opportunities are identified and pursued.
- Other duties to be defined by the maintenance department leadership team as needed
Requirements
Pivotal Experience & Expertise
- A bachelors degree or associate degree is preferred showing a strong educational background.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management encompassing residential construction and repair and maintenance demonstrating a solid foundation in managing properties effectively.
- At least 3 years of experience working within the Single Family Residential (SFR) or MultiFamily property sector offering a comprehensive understanding of the unique needs and challenges in these spaces.
- Over 3 years of exceptional customer service experience ideally involving customerfacing roles that highlight the ability to engage assist and resolve issues with professionalism.
- Strong familiarity with lease language demonstrating the ability to interpret and apply lease terms appropriately in various situations.
