Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Salesforce CPQ (Configure Price Quote) Developer to join our Salesforce implementation team. As a Salesforce CPQ Developer you will be responsible for designing configuring customizing and implementing Salesforce CPQ solutions to meet our organizations sales and quoting needs. Your expertise will play a crucial role in optimizing our sales processes and enhancing the efficiency of our quoting and pricing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Salesforce CPQ solutions including product configuration pricing rules discounting strategies and quote templates.
- Customize and extend CPQ functionality using Salesforce CPQ APIs Apex code and declarative tools.
- Integrate Salesforce CPQ with other Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud Service Cloud) and external systems as needed.
- Develop and maintain complex pricing models product bundles and product catalogs within Salesforce CPQ.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices to ensure highquality maintainable code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CPQ configuration and customization.
- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure proper testing and quality assurance of CPQ solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the broader Salesforce implementation team.
- Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce CPQ features updates and best practices.
- Document technical designs implementation details and user guides.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with a focus on CPQ implementation.
- Salesforce CPQ certification is good to have.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities data modeling and customization options.
- Proficiency in Apex Visualforce and Lightning Component Framework.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs middleware and web services.
- Familiarity with sales and pricing processes ideally in a B2B sales environment.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
