Job Description
- Edit retouch and enhance images to improve quality and visual appeal ensuring they meet specific project guidelines.
- Utilize software like Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and other editing tools for colour correction resizing and retouching.
- Collaborate with photographers and designers to understand project requirements and ensure images align with creative vision.
- Maintain consistency in editing style ensuring all images meet brand standards.
- Manage and organize image libraries categorizing files for easy access and retrieval.
- Prepare images for print digital and social media platforms adjusting resolutions and formats as needed.
- Continuously improve editing techniques and stay updated on industry trends and tools.
- Raw Files Adjustment
- Basic Blemish Removal (Light removal of minor imperfections or spots on products/skin).
- Lighting & Shadows (Minor adjustments to enhance natural lighting and correct unwanted shadows).
- Reflection Correction (Minimizing unwanted reflections glare and light spots on reflective surfaces like glass and stainless steel).
- Background Cleanup
- Backdrop replacement
- Deep etching
- Special effects (adding sparkles etc)
- Product retouching
- Background Extension/Reconstruction (Extending or reconstructing the background to enhance composition or remove distractions).
- Advanced Skin Retouching (Frequency separation skin enhancement)
- Shadow Creation (Create realistic shadows for product photography)
- Texture mapping (Retouch reflective/translucent products to match lighting & the environment in an aesthetically pleasing way).
- Composite Work (Adding or removing elements within the photograph such as combining multiple images or adding missing parts of a product or scene).
- Overall image sharpening & detail enhancement will be done to all images by default.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Photography Multimedia Arts or a related field is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in photo editing retouching or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and other photo editing software.
- Strong attention to detail and an excellent sense of colour lighting and composition.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple projects.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Knowledge of image file formats and resolutions suitable for print and digital platforms
