The incumbent reporting to the Desktop Manager of Student Affairs IT acts as an expert on integrated systems and services addressing complex issues and providing solutions for hardware software and network problems. They independently offer advanced consultation training and troubleshooting to technical staff and users while also managing security configurations Active Directory accounts and endpoint device specifications. Responsibilities include deploying applications maintaining system security installing thirdparty software and developing PowerShell scripts for automation.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated comprehensive expertise in Microsoft Office applications operating systems (Windows OS X) and mobile platforms (including iOS and Android). (Required)
- Knowledge of installing troubleshooting tracking documenting upgrading and replacing computer hardware local and networkbased printers projectors audiovisual devices wireless media streamers and hardware/software applications. (Required)
- Knowledge of Internet protocols including TCP/IP and related protocols in a switched Ethernet environment. (Required)
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues find appropriatesolutions and follow through to completion. (Required)
- Ability to write grammatically correct accurate and wellorganized documentationand training materials. (Required)
- Ability to stay current in knowledge and skills of hardware and softwaretechnology. (Required)
- Proficient in independently managing tasks prioritizing assignments to meet deadlines and completing work as directed by supervisors. (Required)
