Job Title: Marketing Manager
Location: Philippines (Remote)
Salary: $1500 $2000/month
Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and resultsdriven Marketing Manager to lead our social media marketing efforts for our consumerbased website. This role is pivotal as we transition to a more inhouse marketing strategy aiming to boost traffic and sales while aligning closely with our vision.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute innovative social media marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and drive engagement.
Generate Leads and Drive Sales: Create strategies to increase website traffic generate leads and convert visitors into customers.
Independent Management: Take the initiative and operate autonomously to manage all marketing efforts adapting quickly to fast timelines and changing priorities.
Collaboration: Work closely with our separate team that manages inhouse products and marketing channels ensuring alignment and synergy across platforms.
Performance Analysis: Monitor analyze and report on marketing performance metrics adjusting strategies as needed to achieve objectives.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in social media marketing preferably in consumerfocused sectors.
Familiarity with ecommerce platforms such as Amazon Etsy and Shopify is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to lead marketing initiatives independently and meet tight deadlines.
Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and best practices.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Based in the Philippines to accommodate budget and operational needs.
Work Schedule:
Monday Thursday: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM ET
Friday: 8:30 AM 3:00 PM ET
Assessments:
Task: Develop a social media marketing campaign proposal for a hypothetical product on our consumerbased website.
Instructions:
Choose a product (you can create a fictional one if preferred).
Outline a strategy that includes:
Target audience identification
Key messaging
Proposed social media platforms
Content types (e.g. images videos posts)
Engagement tactics (e.g. contests influencer partnerships)
Metrics for success and how you would measure them
Task: Analyze the performance of a fictional social media campaign provided in a brief case study.
Instructions:
Review the data provided (e.g. engagement rates traffic generated conversion rates).
Answer the following questions:
What worked well in the campaign
What areas need improvement
Provide two actionable recommendations for optimizing future campaigns.
Task: Create a lead generation plan for the consumer website focusing on social media channels.
Instructions:
Outline a stepbystep plan that includes:
Specific tactics (e.g. lead magnets webinars special offers)
Timeline for implementation
Tools or platforms you would use for execution
Expected outcomes and how you would track them
