Load Balancer & WAF Engineer L1
**Location**: Mumbai (All Areas) / Belapur
**Mode of Work**: Client Onsite
**Vacancies**: 5
**CTC**: 3.5 LPA to 5.5 LPA
Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and technically skilled Load Balancer & Web Application Firewall Engineers (L1) to provide onsite support for our client in Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting managing and configuring load balancers and WAF solutions while also supporting networkrelated incidents and performance issues. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adhere to client policies are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and resolve network issues including link outages peer outages router/switch/firewall failures multicast/broadcast issues and general network performance issues.
• Manage configure and troubleshoot Load Balancers and Web Application Firewalls (WAF) to ensure optimal network performance and security. • Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various configurations and troubleshooting steps.
• Efficiently resolve incidents with detailed technical updates and documented artefacts.
• Develop Plan of Actions (POAs) for new features and activities and collaborate closely with the customer’s IT team and other internal IT staff.
• Strictly follow customer policies and processes.
• Provide guidance and assistance to team members. Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science IT Electronics or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with load balancing solutions (F5 BIGIP) and WAF solutions (Akamai Kona AWS WAF).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP routing protocols and performance diagnostics
• Experience in handling network incidents and escalations.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with client teams and document solutions.
• Relevant certifications in networking or load balancing are advantageous.
