Job Title: Sales Manager

Job Details

  • Experience Required: 5 to 20 years
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide technical selling and consultations for customers regarding the company's photovoltaic (PV) products and systems in both commercial and residential markets.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with key accounts including installers contractors and reselling partners.
  • Lead negotiations on pricing contracts and service agreements ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Acquire and develop new customers within Gauteng and surrounding provinces including KwaZulu Natal.
  • Recruit train and manage the Gauteng sales team setting clear performance goals and providing ongoing coaching.
  • Foster a highperformance sales culture focused on results accountability and customercentricity.
  • Manage sales forecasts budgets and financial reporting ensuring transparency and alignment with company targets.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate sales performance and inform strategic adjustments.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing product and operations teams to ensure alignment on regional sales goals and strategies.
  • Provide feedback on product performance customer requirements and market demands to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations ethical standards and company policies in all sales practices.
  • Implement and uphold sales best practices including effective CRM usage to optimize team efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Organize and commence regular technical product and system training sessions with clients during the introduction of new products or system configurations.
  • Gain internal knowledge about new products and updates and process and present this information in the company’s knowledge base for training colleagues.
  • Analyze and assess market and customer requirements for new products and solutions.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of technical selling strategies and consultations.
  • Proven experience in managing highperformance teams.
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • High level of accountability and results orientation.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and sales forecasting tools.

Desired Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales management role preferably within the PV products industry.
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies that have led to business growth.
  • Demonstrable success in the acquisition and development of new customer accounts.
  • Experience working within Gauteng and surrounding provinces.
