About the Role:
As the Director of Partnerships, you will lead and grow the relationships between Squirro and our network of partners, driving business outcomes that align with our strategic vision. This role is a key contributor to our Sales & Revenue team and is central to our partnership strategy.
You’ll work closely with partners to foster growth, provide resources and support, and ensure all initiatives are aligned with our goals. Your focus will range from relationship management and partner enablement to driving new business through strategic initiatives, onboarding, and continuous program improvements.
Responsibilities:
Partner Recruitment and Onboarding
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners, managing the full partnership lifecycle.
- Ensure smooth onboarding processes and deliver comprehensive product and service training.
Relationship and Account Management
- Collaborate with partners to develop strategic business plans to achieve shared sales targets.
- Continuously assess partner performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Proactively resolve partner challenges, including sales conflicts, pricing issues, and any operational concerns.
Sales and Pipeline Oversight
- Manage the sales pipeline, deliver accurate sales forecasts, and identify new revenue opportunities.
- Support partners in creating competitive proposals, quotations, and pricing models.
Marketing and Promotion
- Partner with the marketing team to plan and execute joint events, campaigns, and promotional activities.
Desired candidate profile
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic partnerships account management, with a proven track record of building and scaling SaaS partnerships from the ground up at least twice.
- Extensive experience working with major system integrators (e.g., Accenture, KPMG, Deloitte, PwC) and boutique consulting partners.
- Proven success in partnership or channel management roles, with demonstrated skills in building and scaling relationships.
- Strong knowledge of sales processes and partner engagement strategies.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience in pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
- Proficient in developing business plans and sales proposals.
- Strong conflict resolution skills to handle partner-related challenges effectively.
