Job Description
As a Cloud Infrastructure Automation Engineer you will manage and automate the companys cloud infrastructure to improve scalability resilience and deployment efficiency. Leveraging your expertise in IaC and cloud platforms you will collaborate closely with product owners and technical teams to drive improvements in the companys global infrastructure ensuring alignment with security and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Design & Automation
- Architect and automate cloud infrastructure on platforms like Azure (IaaS/PaaS)
- Develop and maintain IaC using tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Technical Integration & Deployment
- Collaborate across infrastructure application and platform teams to facilitate seamless integration and deployment of cloud services following DevOps best practices.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient automated deployments and continuous delivery.
Continuous Improvement & Optimization
- Identify opportunities for infrastructure optimization focusing on automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.
- Work closely with product owners to evaluate and integrate new technologies aligned with companys business goals.
Security & Compliance
- Implement security best practices within cloud environments including network security access management and data protection .
- Conduct routine infrastructure audits to ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
Technical Skills
- They have experience with cloud infrastructure engineering particularly in Azure or similar platforms and proficiency in automation tools like Terraform Ansible or PowerShell
- Strong background in CI/CD pipelines containerization (eg Docker Kubernetes ) and DevOps practice
- Expertise in diagnosing complex cloud infrastructure issues with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and performance optimization.
Communication Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications in Azure or cloud automation.
- Experience in a global enterprise setting with a focus on consumer goods or similar industries.
