Job Description

As a QA Engineer you will define quality standards execute test strategies and ensure software excellence by collaborating with crossfunctional teams. You will lead efforts in quality automation and continuous improvement to drive impactful results in our fastpaced environment.

Job Overview

• Define quality standards and metrics for projects and products.
  
• Work with stakeholders to review finalize and agree on quality metrics.
  
• Monitor and report the progress of testing activities.
  
• Provide meaningful metrics and reports on test coverage results and defect trends.
  

Test Management

• Develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts.
  
• Define testing strategies including manual and automated approaches.
  
• Conduct functional regression compatibility performance and system testing.
  
• Execute automated test scripts and analyze results.
  
• Identify isolate and document defects with clear and concise reproduction steps.
  

Quality Management

• Create and maintain test cases test scripts and test scenarios and execute them.
  
• Conduct functional usability regression stress and fullcycle testing of software systems.
  
• Coordinate with SMs POs BAs CMs and Scrum teams to ensure all software builds meet QE standards.
  
• Assist software engineers in identifying root causes of defects through tracking and analysis.
  
• Collaborate with business analysts and software engineers to provide feedback on testability.
  
• Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience.
  
• Enforce defect management procedures within project teams.
  
• Ensure compliance with testing processes and best practices.
  
• Provide testing effort assessments including identification of test phases effort estimation and activity duration.
  
• Participate in strategic planning and process improvement initiatives for the Quality Engineering group.
  
• Contribute to the overall vision of the Empower Teams Platform.
  
• Plan and test quality automation for assigned projects.
  
• Develop and maintain automated scripts for all product testing.
  
• Develop manual and automated test cases and scripts.
  

Automation

• Design implement and maintain automated test scripts using industrystandard tools.
  
• Identify opportunities for test automation and contribute to the improvement of the automation framework.
  

Project Management

• Define project scope timelines resource allocation success measures and reporting requirements.
  
• Manage project budgets and expenses.
  
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements.
  
• Ensure compliance with software development methodologies and best practices.
  

Stakeholder Management

• Identify and engage key internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
  
• Maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders and keep them informed about updates.
  
• Proactively address stakeholder issues and concerns to build positive relationships.
  
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers product managers and scrum masters to ensure effective testing coverage.
  
• Provide input into project timelines and deliverables based on testing efforts.
  

Technical Leadership

• Mentor and guide junior QA team members.
  
• Provide technical leadership and expertise in QA best practices.
  

Other Responsibilities

• Perform administrative and nonadministrative duties as assigned by the company s representatives.
  

Requirements

The Qualifications We Seek

• Bachelors degree or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with handson experience in building dashboards via Excel; working knowledge of data visualization tools is preferred.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Proven ability to multitask take initiative lead tasks and work under minimal supervision.
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• A mindset focused on continuous improvement comfortable with challenging the status quo.
  
• Demonstrated ability to excel in fastpaced and dynamic environments.
  
• Handson experience with automation is required.
