Job Description
My client a top multinational in the FMCG sector is seeking an experienced Head of regulatory Affairs who will be responsible for leading their regulatory strategy ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations and guiding the organization through the complexities of regulatory requirements. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape within the FMCG industry.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with national and international regulations.
- Lead regulatory submissions and manage interactions with regulatory agencies.
- Proactively manage regulatory developments and provide guidance on potential impacts to the business.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment and understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present regulatory reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to the regulatory affairs team.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 4 in regulatory affairs within the FMCG sector.
- Indepth knowledge of regulatory requirements and processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills.
