Job Description
Salary: $ 90000.00
We have partnered with a large construction company in the Portland OR area to provide them with a Project Manager Industrial Construction. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.
Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Project Manager Industrial Construction:
#1. Must have at least 7 years of Industrial Construction Management experience.
#2. Must have ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications P&IDs flow diagrams process data sheets and to identify discrepancies or conflicts within documents.
#3. Must have strong working knowledge and skill of Microsoft Office products.
#4. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years.
Requirements of the Project Manager Industrial Construction:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial construction showcasing strong skills in problemsolving communication and attention to detail.
- Background in working with manufacturing clients across various environments particularly on construction sites related to chemical and advanced materials manufacturing.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting constructionrelated documentation including P&IDs flow diagrams process data sheets and the ability to spot and address discrepancies or conflicts within these documents.
- Familiarity with engineering and construction documents such as data sheets specifications and their associated approval processes.
- Handson experience in process construction including the installation of equipment process piping mechanical systems electrical and instrumentation (E&I) and utilities.
- Previous experience with industrial building projects including civil works concrete steel structures mechanical electrical plumbing (MEP) and fire protection (FP) is considered beneficial.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for business purposes.
- A proactive approach and a commitment to being an engaged member of the firms culture within the construction engineering industry.
