We are looking for a dedicated Product Owner who will represent the interests of the Business Owner and the Voice of the Customer translating user stories into actionable items that drive product development. Youll create and refine the product vision roadmap and backlog working within an Agile/Scrum framework to bring impactful financial solutions to life. Key Responsibilities
- Voice of Business & Customer: Represent the business owners vision and customer needs using deep research methodscustomerdriven datadriven technologydriven marketdriven and businessdriven approachesto inform:
- Product Vision
- Product Roadmap (including milestones MVP and OKRs)
- Prioritized Product Backlog
- Agile/Scrum Collaboration: Act as an essential part of the Agile/Scrum team by:
- Bridging communication between the Business Owner and Development Team.
- Collaborating with the Development Team to set realistic sprint goals aligning with backlog priorities team capacity Definition of Done and retrospective commitments.
- Assisting the Development Team as needed to clarify business requirements during each sprint.
- Ensuring Development Team accountability to meet evolving business requirements.
- Performing backlog grooming/refinement sessions as required.
- Progress Reporting: Regularly report visually on product development progress to the Business Owner and stakeholders keeping transparency at the forefront.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree (or equivalent) from any discipline with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Product Management or Project Management specifically in the multifinance or banking sector.
- Tenure: Minimum of 3 years within the same organization.
- Domain Expertise: Familiar with handling treasury finance or accounting modules within a core company system (Funding Management System).
- Financial Product Experience: Proven experience with accounting applications or financerelated systems involving loan maintenance (term loans short loans invoice payments).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and accurately.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with both customers and the development team.
- Ownership & Agility: Demonstrated ownership of product and company goals with a solid understanding of Agile Mindset and Scrum Framework.
- Problem Solving: Skilled in identifying use cases creating effective solutions and prioritizing tasks.
- Product Design: Capable of producing highlevel conceptual designs.
- Product Knowledge: Ability to build and convey comprehensive product knowledge to both the customer and development team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Product Management Tools: Proficient in tools like JIRA for efficient product management.
- Analytical Skills: Skilled in using analytics tools to support decisionmaking.
- Professional Certification: Certification in Product Management or a related field is highly advantageous.
