garment quality control (QC) job involves inspecting and testing garments to ensure they meet the required standards:
Quality control activities
A QC professional is responsible for the overall quality control activities including developing and implementing quality control tests inspecting production stages and making improvements.
Quality assurance
A garment technologist manages the quality assurance of products and collections which starts in the early stages of design.
Quality controlling
A QC officer ensures that all parameters are followed and all check marks are checked. This includes ensuring that the garments meet specifications measurements fabric types sewing quality and accessories quality.
Communication
Misunderstandings can lead to critical information not being passed to the right people at the right time.
Inspection
A QC professional inspects products before during and after the manufacturing process.
Defect finding
A QC professional finds defects and makes repairs or corrections.
