JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A JUNIOR PROPERTY ADMIN
Responsibilities as a Junior Property Admin:
Handle all tenant inquiries and requests including resolving maintenance issues providing information and responding to complaints promptly and professionally.
Assist in preparing and reviewing lease agreements lease renewals and tenant movein/moveout procedures.
Track maintenance requests follow up with contractors and ensure that repairs and services are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Assist in scheduling and coordinating property inspections and ensuring properties comply with safety regulations.
Support rent collection processes and generate reports on rental income late payments and delinquency rates. Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports.
Organize and maintain propertyrelated files contracts permits insurance policies and other documentation.
Manage and organize appointments property showings and meetings for the property management team.
Liaise with contractors vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of services and payment processing.
Assist in general office tasks such as answering phones responding to emails and organizing files.
Qualifications as a Junior Property Admin:
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Real Estate or a related field (preferred but not required).
At least 2 years of experience in property management real estate or related administrative roles.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Proficiency in property management software (e.g. AppFolio Buildium Yardi) or willingness to learn.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
Additional Skills (preferred): Familiarity with local property laws and regulations.
