Job Description
Oracle EBS Solution (Functional) Lead O2C
Location: Remote(Preferably in or around Florida)
Duration: 6 Months (based on performance it can be extended to 18 months and further)
Pay rate: Market/ Flexible
Job Summary:
The Oracle EBS Solution (Functional) Lead OrdertoCash (O2C) will be responsible for the successful design implementation and optimization of the O2C processes within an Oracle ERP (EBS) transformation project. This role requires comprehensive functional expertise in Oracle EBS O2C modules including Order Management (OM) Accounts Receivable (AR) Inventory Shipping and Cash Management (CM). The Solution Lead will work closely with stakeholders across finance operations and IT providing leadership and guidance to ensure the O2C solution aligns with business objectives global standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design & Implementation: Lead the design configuration and deployment of the O2C modules (OM AR Inventory Shipping CM) in Oracle EBS ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
- Process Optimization: Assess existing O2C processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency reduce costs and ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Functional Expertise: Serve as the primary functional expert for Oracle EBS O2C modules offering insights on capabilities configuration options and integration points with other ERP modules.
- Requirements Gathering: Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements conduct gap analysis and design tailored solutions to address both global and regional needs.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop comprehensive test plans oversee functional testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure successful implementation.
- Documentation & Training: Create detailed documentation including functional specifications process flows and training materials and conduct training sessions for endusers and key stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams effectively communicating project updates risks and issues.
- Change Management: Support change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems providing expertise on O2Crelated transformation impacts.
- PostImplementation Support: Provide postgolive support troubleshoot issues and collaborate with technical teams to resolve system and process challenges related to O2C.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Supply Chain Information Technology Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in Oracle EBS with at least 7 years specializing in O2C modules (OM AR Inventory Shipping CM).
- Functional Expertise: Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS O2C modules with a solid understanding of sales order processing billing revenue recognition and cash management processes. Expertise in Oracle EBS & SCM Suite of applications OM Inventory Purchasing Advanced Pricing Mobile SCM etc. and understanding of other modules like ASCP PIM OPM OPM Costing OPM Quality and WMS
- Project Experience: Proven experience in endtoend Oracle ERP implementation projects including requirements gathering solution design configuration testing and postgolive support.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex business needs and translate them into effective functional solutions.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work well within crossfunctional teams including business users technical staff and external consultants to deliver successful O2C solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: Oracle EBS Order Management or Accounts Receivable certifications or similar ERPrelated certifications.
- Global Experience: Experience with global deployments multicurrency transactions and crossregional O2C processes.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industryspecific O2C practices in sectors such as manufacturing retail or distribution.
