Job Description
The ideal candidate will provide highquality nursing care to patients in both medical and surgical settings ensuring their comfort and safety throughout their hospital stay.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients upon admission and throughout their stay monitoring vital signs and recognizing any changes in their condition.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team ensuring that each patient s needs are met.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed monitoring for effectiveness and potential side effects.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding diagnoses treatment plans medications and postdischarge care.
- Work closely with physicians specialists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments interventions and progress in accordance with hospital policies.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital policies to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
- Valid nursing license in Saudi Arabia or eligibility for licensures.
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience after graduation with current medical/surgical inpatient experience of 2 years.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills excellent communication abilities and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are preferred.
- Surgical candidates: experience in General surgery Neuro Vascular Thoracic and urology surgeries. Experience in care of patients with tracheotomy wound care colostomy Chest tube drainage central line care Burns care.
- Orthopedic Surgical candidates should be proficient in applying casts managing traction and operating continuous passive motion (CPM) devices. Knowledgeable with orthopedic surgeries including joint replacements spinal surgeries and fracture repair as well as general surgical procedures.

Experience Must have over 10 years of experience in a senior communications role, healthcare experience preferred. Certifications/Other requirements as applicable Must be highly proficient in written and spoken English, particularly as related to the requirements of Journalism. Perceptive in handling matters of a confidential nature; adequate background in the cultures, traditions, and beliefs of the various nationalities of his readership.
