Develop reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to visualize key performance indicators
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis
Design and implement data models that support business processes and decision-making
Identify areas for process improvement through the use of data analytics
Create ad-hoc reports as needed by different departments within the organization
Data Collection and Management: Gathering and consolidating data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and third-party applications.
Data Analysis: Analyzing data trends, patterns, and insights to inform business decisions and improve processes.
Reporting: Creating and maintaining interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to present findings to stakeholders.
KPI Development: Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance and effectiveness.
Collaboration: Working closely with business units, IT, and data engineering teams to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy.
Data Modeling: Designing and implementing data models that support analytical processes and reporting needs.
Data Quality Assurance: Ensuring data integrity and quality by performing regular audits and data cleansing.
Trend Identification: Identifying business trends and patterns through advanced analytical techniques, including statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
Strategic Recommendations: Providing actionable recommendations based on analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Documentation: Maintaining comprehensive documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analytical processes.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Statistics or related field
Proven experience working with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker
Strong proficiency in SQL scripting for querying large datasets
Experience with data visualization techniques and best practices
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear manner
Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex data sets and provide meaningful insights.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView) and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python).
Data Visualization: Ability to create clear and effective visual representations of data to communicate findings.
Database Knowledge: Understanding of database management systems and data warehousing concepts.
Statistical Techniques: Familiarity with statistical analysis and data modeling techniques to support predictive analytics.
