Job Description
This is a remote position.
Are you a skilled claims professional with a passion for solving complex problems
Our client is seeking a talented Complex Liability Consultant to join their team. In this role you will play a crucial part in helping clients navigate the complexities of mass tort and other highvalue claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Analysis: Review and analyze complex claims including longtail and emerging liability issues.
- Insurance Research: Conduct thorough research on insurance policies coverage terms and insurer financial solvency.
- Data Management: Organize and maintain accurate records and databases.
- Client Communication: Effectively communicate with clients and insurers to provide updates and address concerns.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in claims handling processes.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- 35 years of experience in claims handling preferably in a law firm insurance company or thirdparty administrator
- Proven experience with longtail claims particularly in areas such as asbestos toxic tort chemicals medical devices pharmaceuticals pollution environmental product and premises liability
- Long Tail Tort Claims Experience: Proven experience managing Long Tail Tort claims especially in complex cases.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
