As a Quality Assurance Engineer you ll be tasked with organizing updating and maintaining test cases creating and executing various test plans and participating in story estimations. Your work will involve using QA best practices for manual and automated testing in Katalon Studio and Postman along with providing valuable input in daily standups and release testing sessions. You ll also have a hand in defining quality efforts based on risk analysis to ensure optimal results for the time invested.
Shift: Night Shift Mon Fri (9:00 PM 6:00 AM) Fixed weekends off
Work setup: Permanent WFH

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans including functional regression and integration testing.
- Utilize tools like Katalon Studio and Postman to automate test cases and improve efficiency.
- Maintain and update test cases to ensure they align with evolving product requirements.
- Actively participate in daily standups and contribute to discussions on quality assurance strategies.
- Identify potential risks and prioritize testing efforts to maximize impact.
- Efficiently track and manage defects using a ticketing system like Jira.
- Validate data accuracy and consistency using SQL queries.
Requirements
The Skillset to Perfect Every Detail
- 3 years of experience in software quality assurance
- Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript)
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques
- Experience with test automation tools (Katalon Studio Postman)
- SQL proficiency for data validation and testing
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

The Skillset to Perfect Every Detail 3+ years of QA experience Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Advanced proficiency in manually testing user stories, bugs, and conducting regression testing Proficiency with a ticketing system (Jira or equivalent) Proficiency with test case management software (QAlity or equivalent) Proficiency with API testing in Postman Ability to write and execute SQL queries for result validation Proficiency in writing, organizing, and maintaining end-to-end tests using Katalon Studio Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking Effective communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
