Job Description
Job Title: IT Project Manager (Risk & Controls)
Duration:12 Months
Location: Mclean VA(Hybrid)
Tax Terms:W2
Must Have Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of operational/business risk experience.
- Experience with SOX testing or Auditing is a must.
Position Description:
- Perform ongoing operational risk management activities including but not limited to;
- Identify and complete risk assessments.
- Develop and document controls
- Prepare conduct and document quarterly Risk Control SelfAssessments (RCSA).
- Support the Manager with issue remediation i.e. develop and track remediation action plans gather appropriate artifacts update operational database get approvals and draft closure package.
- Investigate operational risk events and produce concise written summaries.
- Assist in maintaining accuracy of data in the operational risk database
- Assist with gap assessments and obligation related mapping
- Undertake adhoc projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5 Years Operational/business risk experience
- Degree in Finance or Economics or equivalent
- CPA or CIA certification is preferred
- Experience with SOX testing or Audit
