Location: Palm Beach County FL (100% Onsite from day 1)

Rate: $70.00/hr.

MANDATE: GEOSERVER & GEOSPATIAL EXPERIENCE MUST HAVE.

Job Description:

• Client will onboard a highly skilled MAPBOX Maps and GIS Expert to join the geospatial technology team.
• The MAPBOX Maps and GIS Expert will play a key role in designing and developing geospatial solutions using Azure Maps GIS technologies JavaScript GeoJSON Java and MAPBOX services.
• This role is essential in creating locationbased applications and services that enhance the products and offerings.
• To develop detailed project plans including timelines milestones and resource allocation to meet project objectives and also provide technical guidance for work completion.

(1) To oversee quality assurance processes ensuring adherence to coding standards implementation of best practices and participate in technical discussionsorreview.

(2) To create work plans monitor and track the work schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards.

(3) To Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or quality and accordingly develop mitigation strategies or contingency plans to address risks.

(4) To lead and empower a dynamic development team by boosting their technical skills improving productivity and fostering a collaborative highperformance culture.

Responsibilities:

• Geospatial Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand geospatial requirements and design scalable solutions using Geospatial Maps and GIS technologies.
• Geo Spatial Maps Implementation: Develop and integrate Geospatial Maps into web and mobile applications to provide locationbased services and mapping capabilities.
• GeoJSON Data Handling: Create manipulate and manage GeoJSON data for geospatial applications ensuring data quality and efficiency.

• JavaScript Development: Develop interactive and responsive webbased mapping applications using JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
• Geospatial Integration: Integrate geospatial capabilities into Angular applications ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
• Geospatial Analysis: Perform geospatial analysis including spatial queries proximity analysis and routing to support business needs.
• Data Visualization: Create visually compelling and informative maps and dashboards to convey geospatial data insights.
• API Integration: Utilize Geospatial services and APIs for geospatial data storage processing and analysis.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of geospatial solutions workflows and data sources.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve geospatial issues and performance bottlenecks in applications.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers data scientists and product managers to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Stay Current: Keep uptodate with geospatial technologies trends and best practices and provide recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a GIS Specialist Geospatial Developer or similar role with expertise in Azure Maps GIS technologies JavaScript GeoJSON Java and Geospatial.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript including frameworks like React Angular or Vue.js for webbased mapping applications.
• Experience with Java development for geospatial integration.
• Familiarity with GeoJSON data formats and spatial databases (e.g. PostgreSQL/PostGIS).
• Knowledge of Geospatial services relevant to geospatial applications such as SQL Database Azure Functions and Azure IoT.
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot geospatial issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications in geospatial technologies or Azure are a plus.
