Job Description
Plant Cost Accountant
Objective:
The Plant Cost Accountant is responsible for ensuring effective financial planning and monitoring of expenses within the manufacturing plant.
Essential Functions:
- Collect and maintain comprehensive cost information within an expense database.
- Analyze and determine fixed costs.
- Prepare budgeting reports for the company and each department to facilitate financial planning.
- Develop and present monthly quarterly and annual cost forecasts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Previous experience in a multicultural work environment is desirable.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables).
- Experience: Continuous improvement in accounting practices and methodologies.
- Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Familiarity with Oracle ERP and SAP advanced Excel skills Plant operations cost management.
