The Project Management Officer (PMO) will be responsible for providing financial insights developing and refining project management policies and ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines. This role requires a detailoriented professional with strong organizational and leadership skills to oversee project development and maintain consistency in project standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight & Reporting: Prepare detailed financial reports and budget outlines for Executive review ensuring fiscal responsibility across projects.
- Project Development Supervision: Oversee project progress and ensure that team members are performing their tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Policy Development: Draft and continuously improve Project Management Office policies and processes to align with industry best practices.
- Project Evaluation: Assess project performance ensuring that company standards are met budgets are adhered to and deadlines are achieved.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain comprehensive records of each projects initiation development execution scope budget and justification.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a Project Management Officer or in a similar role with a minimum of 15 years in IT project management; experience in the multifinance industry is a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated strong leadership abilities capable of guiding project teams and making impactful decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and technical accuracy to ensure project alignment with specifications.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and technical abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to successful completion.
- Interpersonal Skills: Solid interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration adaptability and multitasking.
- Certifications: Relevant training and/or certifications in Project Management (PMP PMO certification etc.) are highly desirable.
