Job Description

Position Overview: Our client seeks to employ a dedicated and experienced Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Store in Rustenburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales managing staff and ensuring exceptional customer service while maintaining store standards.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Management: Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability. Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions as needed.

  • Staff Management: Recruit train and develop a highperforming team. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching to staff members.

  • Customer Service: Ensure a positive shopping experience for customers by maintaining high service standards. Address customer complaints and feedback promptly.

  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels conduct stock takes and ensure the store is wellstocked. Implement effective merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility.

  • Financial Management: Oversee store budgets manage expenses and analyze financial reports. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure the store complies with health and safety regulations as well as company policies. Promote a safe and clean working environment.

  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance staff productivity and inventory management for senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Retail Manager or similar role in the retail industry.
  • Minimum of 35 years in a Supervisory/Management role within a retail environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with retail management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of stock management and merchandising principles.

Education:

  • A degree in Business Administration Retail Management or a related field is preferred but not essential.
  • Minimum Grade 12 is a must.
