Job Description
- The Toy Librarian will play a pivotal role in managing and curating a collection of educational toys games and resources for young children. The toy librarian requires to have a passion for early childhood development excellent organizational skills and the ability to engage children in playful and educational activities.
Skills :
- Toy/Resource Management: Maintain a wellorganized and accessible toy library environment.
- Ensure that all toys are clean safe and ageappropriate.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where children feel encouraged to explore and learn through play.
- Collaborate effectively with ECD teachers/assistants and other staff members to integrate toy library resources into the centres programming. Small Group Interventions with Red Flagged Children:
- Monitor and track progress of redflagged children adjusting interventions as necessary to support their development.
- Collaborate with ECD teachers/assistants and other professionals to develop and implement targeted intervention strategies. Parental Intervention Workshops:
- Provide practical strategies and resources for parents to implement at home to enhance their childs development.
- Foster a supportive and collaborative relationship with parents empowering them to be active partners in their childs learning journey. Bambanani Learning App Planning Implementation and Execution:
- Plan and coordinate the integration of the Bamba Learn App into the centers curriculum and learning activities.
- Train ECD practitioners and staff on how to effectively use the Bamba Learn App to support childrens learning and development. Monitor usage and effectiveness of the Bamba Learn App providing ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed.
