Job Summary
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SAP FIORI Consultant with over 9 years of expertise in designing developing and maintaining user experience (UX) applications for SAP. Experience with SAP upgrade projects from a FIORI perspective is essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Development:
- Design and customize FIORI applications using SAPUI5 XML and JavaScript.
- Activate and modify existing FIORI apps.
- Update and migrate current SAP FIORI applications to newer versions during system upgrades including:
- Analyzing upgrade impacts on existing FIORI apps.
- Identifying necessary adjustments and updating security roles.
- Testing modified applications to ensure functionality.
- Ensuring smooth transitions to new FIORI features in upgraded systems.
- Review and Assessment:
- Evaluate current FIORI apps to identify those impacted by upgrades including deprecated applications.
- Utilize the SAP FIORI Apps Reference Library to assess the status of existing apps in the target release.
- Analyze changes in functionality layout or behavior due to upgrades.
- Adjust security roles for FIORI apps to maintain appropriate user access postupgrade.
- Modify custom FIORI apps to ensure compatibility with new versions.
- Integration:
- Connect FIORI applications with SAP backend systems and external data sources.
- Testing and Support:
- Ensure highquality performance of FIORI applications through rigorous testing and debugging.
- Provide troubleshooting and technical support for FIORI applications in production environments.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated on the latest SAP FIORI technologies and best practices.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain technical documentation including user guides and design specifications.
Qualifications:
- 9 years of experience in SAP FIORI development and maintenance.
- Strong skills in SAPUI5 XML and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with CDS views and OData; ABAP knowledge is a plus.
- Proven experience with SAP upgrade projects specifically from a FIORI perspective.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
