Job Description

Client in Wildomar California is a licensed 122bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission. It is Client only designated Trauma Center and a countydesignated Paramedic Base Station. The hospital performs more than 4000 surgeries a year and has an average of 4000 Emergency Department visits per month. The hospital features a Bariatric WeightLoss Surgery Center of Excellence and the regions only Total Joint Center.

Client in Murrieta California is a 120bed acutecare hospital with the regions only Pediatric Emergency Services team (for children 14 and under) provided by board certified Rady Childrens emergency medicine physicians. Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the areas only OB/Emergency Department program which gives expectant mothers 24/7 onsite access to OB/GYN physician coverage. The Childbirth Center at Rancho Springs Hospital is the largest in the region and features spacious familyfriendly private suites. Ranchos Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Childrens.

Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) the Director Risk Management is responsible for directing organizing leading implementing and supervising day to day operations of the Risk Management efforts for SW. The director serves as the hospital Patient Safety Officer and Compliance Officer.

• Graduate of a state accredited school of nursing or graduate of an accredited collegiate program in a healthscience related field.
• Masters degree in a healthcare related field or a Bachelors degree in related field with seven (7) years of director level experience; required
• At least four (4) years leadership experience in an acute care facility
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management of Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality
