Job Description
Position Title: Senior Data Analyst / Data Warehouse Consultant
Location: San Jose CA 100% onsite
Interview mode: 1st round Skype 2nd round inperson

Objective:
This role is focused on providing support for data engineering and analysis efforts within the Integrated Justice System and Business Intelligence (BI) Platform Modernization projects.
This role is focused on providing support for data engineering and analysis efforts within the Integrated Justice System and Business Intelligence (BI) Platform Modernization projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop relational data models including conceptual logical and physical models
- Map user interfaces to database fields to support development teams.
- Develop and design reports and dashboards and assist in their transition to production.
- Conduct peer reviews and provide constructive recommendations.
- Document processes including knowledge capture and creation of diagrams.
- Perform troubleshooting root cause analysis and implement workarounds or fixes as needed.
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally both with peers and occasionally with stakeholders.
Required Skills & Tools:
- 3 years of experience with Relational
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL SSIS SSAS SSRS.
- 5 years of experience working with Power BI Report Server and Power BI Service.
- Strong understanding of CJIS public safety and justice systems along with associated datasets.
Education:
Bachelors degree or higher in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science Statistics Engineering) or equivalent work experience.
