Job Description
Job Title: Compressor Field Service Engineer (Reciprocating Compressors)
Location: Qatar
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation commissioning and troubleshooting of reciprocating compressors.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues implementing effective solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients on compressor operations and maintenance.
- Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to address customer needs and improve service offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities and prepare reports for management.
- Stay updated on industry trends technologies and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience with reciprocating compressors (35 years preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in compressor technology or related fields.
- Familiarity with control systems and instrumentation related to compressors.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and software.
