Job Description

Job Summary:
As a Microsoft Dynamics Functional Consultant you will be responsible for working with clients to gather business requirements analyze business processes and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions to meet client needs. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between the technical development team and the business stakeholders ensuring that the solution is aligned with the business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements ensuring a deep understanding of their processes and needs.
Conduct workshops meetings and interviews with business stakeholders to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for the development team.
Solution Design and Configuration:
Design and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions (e.g. Sales Customer Service Finance Supply Chain) based on business requirements.
Customize Dynamics 365 to meet clientspecific business needs including workflows forms reports and dashboards.
Work with the development team to define customizations and integrations where necessary.
Implementation and Testing:
Lead and participate in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions ensuring they align with business processes.
Conduct system testing including unit testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that the solution meets the functional requirements.
Provide postimplementation support and training to endusers to ensure smooth adoption of the solution.
Process Optimization and Best Practices:
Recommend process improvements and best practices to clients helping them optimize their use of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Stay updated on the latest features and updates in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and recommend new functionalities that could benefit the client s operations.
Documentation and Training:
Create comprehensive documentation including functional specifications process flows and user manuals.
Provide enduser training and support helping clients adopt the solution and maximize its value.
Serve as the primary point of contact for functional and business process issues.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor s degree in Business Information Systems or a related field.
Experience:
o 4 years of experience as a Functional Consultant working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP/CRM systems.
o Proven experience in implementing and configuring one or more Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules (e.g. Finance Sales Supply Chain Customer Service etc.).
o Strong understanding of business processes in areas such as sales marketing finance and operations.
Skills and Competencies:
Functional Expertise:
o Indepth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules and the ability to configure them based on business needs.
o Strong understanding of business processes and how they relate to Dynamics 365 with the ability to map these processes to system functionality.
Analytical and ProblemSolving Skills:
o Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and suggest solutions that align with business goals.
o Ability to identify process improvements and recommend solutions to optimize business performance.
Communication and Collaboration:
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
o Ability to lead client workshops presentations and training sessions.
o Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients developers and project teams.
Project Management and Documentation:
o Experience in managing the functional aspects of Dynamics 365 projects from requirements gathering to golive.
o Strong documentation skills including the ability to create clear and concise functional specifications and user guides.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals or relevant certification in specific modules (e.g. Finance Sales Supply Chain).
Experience with Power Platform tools (Power Apps Power Automate Power BI) and integrating them with Dynamics 365.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira Azure DevOps for managing functional tasks and requirements.
