Job Description
Qualifications:
Must have Masters degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology from an institute accredited by ASHA
Valid (Temp) RI SLP license required
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide skilled medically necessary speech and language therapy assessments and develop and implement individualized treatment plans to increase clients independence and functioning.
Provide SLP services in LTAClevel and longterm care in medical and psychiatric settings across 2 campuses (Cranston & Burriville RI).
Coordinate and collaborate with other professionals for onsite diagnostic swallowing procedures (MBSS FEES) as ordered by a physician
Provide training and education to clients family caregivers and other professionals
Communicate changes in the patients condition with multidisciplinary team members
Provide accurate and timely supporting clinical documentation
Comply with federal state and local legal and professional requirements
Direct supervision will be provided on and offsite monthly by a licensed Clinical Speech mentor as required by ASHA
