Interviews week of 10/28 (2 rounds 1st with hiring manager 2nd with team)
D2D:
o Strategic meetings
o Working with the business understanding their needs what they are trying to accomplish with data and how they can translate it
o Leading a team of analysts
o Close collaboration with Data Science team
Scope:
o Business acumen is key Looking for someone who is a problem solver
o You are driving understanding what they are trying to do and how will they get there
o Impact the firm globally streamline strategy
o Identify where they have inefficiencies and bring that to light improve communication and vision across all the analysis
o Close collaboration with data science team
o Understanding of data science artificial intelligence and machine learning
Skills:
o PowerBI
o Understanding of Databricks SQL R Python Alteryx
Background/Career: Broader experience in data is helpful (financial data sales data etc)
Selling the role:
o Paving the road/direct where this team grows
o Building the path as we walk down it
o She wants people to come in with their ideas about what the team should look like and be open to other peoples ideas to grow/develop this team
About the Role: As a Lead Data Analyst you will be a key member of our data team responsible for leading the analysis of complex data sets to drive strategic decisionmaking. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to uncover insights identify trends and develop actionable recommendations.
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Visualization:
o Lead the design development and execution of data analysis projects using advanced statistical techniques and data mining tools.
o Develop and maintain data visualizations (e.g. dashboards reports) to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
o Identify and address data quality issues to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Team Leadership:
o Mentor and guide junior data analysts providing technical expertise and career development opportunities.
o Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into datadriven solutions.
o Foster a culture of datadriven decisionmaking within the organization.
Strategic Insights:
o Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover trends patterns and anomalies.
o Develop and present actionable insights to senior leadership driving strategic decisionmaking.
o Identify opportunities for datadriven innovation and process improvement.
Data Governance:
o Establish and maintain data governance standards and policies to ensure data quality and compliance.
o Develop and implement data management best practices including data cleaning integration and storage.
