Position: VDOT Project Manager 4 Scrum Master
Location: Richmond VA (23219)
Client: State of Virginia
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced VDOT Project Manager 4 Scrum Master to drive consistent project delivery and facilitate Agile ceremonies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile principles and a proven track record in project management. This role requires working onsite up to 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project plans resource allocation and delivery of value.
- Coordinate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning and Retrospectives.
- Track project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Foster a productive team environment and remove obstacles.
- Assist Product Owner in backlog management and prioritization.
Key Technical Skills:
- 10 years of experience with Scrum/Kanban Agile methodologies.
- 12 years of understanding software development life cycles.
- Strong interpersonal skills for mentoring and team building.
- Proficient with Microsoft Project and Agile tools (e.g. JIRA).
- Current PMP and CSM certifications required; SAFe experience preferred.
