Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Provide essential support to the Government Relations Manager in managing various government-related tasks, embassies, associate relations, and administrative functions. This position requires outstanding organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of governmental processes and regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Recruitment and Visa Processing: • Effectively manage and process all manual job applications, ensuring completeness and accuracy. • Coordinate the submission of visa applications and necessary documents to government authorities, meeting all prescribed deadlines. • Obtains employment visa and residence permits for Rosewood Doha associates and their dependents. Arranges for visit visas for associates through Embassies and consulates whenever is necessary. • Arrange new and renewal Qatar ID Card for all Rosewood Doha associates. • Vigilantly follow up on visa application progress, maintaining regular communication with authorities to ensure timely approvals. • Be up to date with regard to any changes or amendments to the prevailing laws / rules / regulations, changes in forms / formats and other procedures. • Maintains a record of expiry dates of residence permits, visas, and ensures renewal in time to avoid fines and complications. • Assist the education and marriage certificate attestation process for associates. • Stay updated on the latest attestation requirements and procedures. • Coordinate with external agencies to facilitate the timely and accurate attestation of certificates when required. Embassy and Attestation: • Handle embassy attestation processes efficiently and keep meticulous records of the company's registration with embassies. • Manage the collection of banks pay cards for associates, oversee the fingerprinting process and labor contract management. • Monitor the status of medical examinations and fingerprint results for associates, promptly addressing any concerns or discrepancies.Documentation and Filing: • Maintain an organized and file the hard copy and save the soft copy in the system, for all government-related documents, including visas, Qatar IDs (QIDs), food handler certificates, and other relevant certificates. Ensure that the essential hard copies are properly stored and preserved within the government relations filing system. • Prepare and provide Arabic letters as requested by associates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations. • Be responsible for the submission and collection of entertainment licenses from the Ministry of Interior (MOI) and keep comprehensive records of all related documentation.   • Understanding of the legislative process at local, state, and federal levels.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations affecting the industry.
