We are seeking a skilled and motivated Credit Manager to oversee the credit assessment and risk management processes for our Home Loans and Loan Against Property products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit analysis risk evaluation and a thorough understanding of mortgage and property financing.
Credit Assessment: Evaluate loan applications for Home Loans and LAP ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Risk Analysis: Conduct thorough risk assessments on applicants analyzing creditworthiness income stability property valuation and other relevant factors.
Policy Development: Collaborate with senior management to develop and update credit policies ensuring they align with market trends and risk appetite.
Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage the performance of the loan portfolio identifying early signs of delinquency and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of credit analysts providing training and guidance on best practices in credit evaluation.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales underwriting and legal teams to ensure smooth loan processing and compliance with regulations.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on credit performance risk exposure and market conditions for senior management.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance Business Administration or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g. CFA CA) is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit risk management specifically in Home Loans and LAP products.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of credit assessment methodologies property valuation processes and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team and work collaboratively across departments.
