The interpreter will be responsible for interpreting conversations speeches, abs other verbal communication into the target language.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Modern Standard Arabic (Fusha) is a must.
- Advanced Vocab. And Grammar.
- Ability to interpret conversations, speeches and other verbal communication into the target language accurately and quickly.
- Experience in interpretation or related field is preferred.
- Graduates only can apply.
-Flexible with rotational shifts.
Certification: Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Interpreter, court interpreter certifications) are highly desirable.
Language Proficiency
Bilingualism: Fluency in at least two languages, with a deep understanding of both spoken and written forms.
Cultural Competence: Strong awareness of cultural nuances, idiomatic expressions, and regional dialects relevant to the languages spoken.
Technical Skills
Interpretation Techniques: Proficient in various interpretation modes, including consecutive, simultaneous, and whispering.
Technology Use: Familiarity with interpretation equipment and software (e.g., headsets, microphones, remote interpretation tools).
Experience
Work History: Previous experience in interpretation settings, such as conferences, meetings, legal proceedings, or healthcare environments.
Subject Matter Expertise: Knowledge in specific fields (e.g., legal, medical, technical) can be advantageous.
Soft Skills
Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey messages clearly and accurately.
Active Listening: Strong listening skills to comprehend and interpret spoken language effectively.
Adaptability: Ability to adjust to different environments and situations quickly.
