Job Description
This is a remote position.
Position: Release Manager
Location: Work from Home Mumbai
Experience: 57 years
Notice Period: Immediate Joiner
Mandatory Skills: GitHub expertise Salesforce Release Management Salesforce DX SFDX CLI VS Code
- Release Process Implementation: Ensure the documented release process is consistently applied across all Salesforce orgs (1520) for maximum efficiency and scalability.
- DevOps Management: Oversee DevOps practices using GitHub for the core European model handling code deployment from the central core to local orgs.
- Integration and Collaboration: Coordinate with local providers managing certain orgs to maintain seamless integration and adherence to the core model.
- Training and Support: Provide training to team members on following the release process ensuring understanding and smooth execution.
- Center of Excellence (CoE) Setup: Assist in setting up a CoE for Salesforce DevOps providing best practices guidelines and training.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization automation and improvement.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes and provide regular performance reports.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (Master s is a plus).
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in DevOps CI/CD and release management.
- Experience managing DevOps with GitHub including branching merging and version control.
- Salesforce environment deployment experience preferred.
- Minimum 5 years in DevOps CI/CD and release management.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in GitHub and version control systems.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with Salesforce DX and deployment tools (e.g. Gearset Copado).

- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication problemsolving and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in crossfunctional teams.
- Leadership abilities to mentor team members and partners.

- Ensure the established DevOps and release management process is implemented and followed across all orgs.
- Be proactive in identifying potential issues and enhancing process efficiency.
- Work comfortably in a dynamic environment coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
