Seeking an Electrical Estimator to work at Evansville Indiana location.
Work Schedule:
8hour shift / Monday to Friday.
Job Summary
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Prepare cost estimates for various projects including conceptual designbuild and general tender work.
- Independently calculate materials labor and equipment costs based on proposals plans and specifications including project closings.
- Review data to determine material and labor requirements creating detailed itemized lists.
- Draft requests for quotations to secure competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Utilize estimating software (e.g. Accubid Classic or Anywhere) for precise cost calculations.
- Collaborate with Estimating Manager to establish indirect costs and overheads for each estimate.
Job Requirements:
- A bachelors degree from a fouryear college or university preferred
- 2 years of electrical estimating experience in the electrical contracting industry.
- Experience in developing electrical service quotes/estimates in a similar role.
- Knowledge of electrical subtrades scope of work.
- Understanding of electrical drawings and interpret schematics and P&IDs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel); knowledge of Accubid Estimating Software.
