Job Description

HM Note: This hybrid role is three (3) days in office


MANDATORY DELIVERABLES:
Organize monitor and report on initiatives that adhere to strategic objectives
Formulate organize and monitor interconnected projects including coordination of crossproject activities
Provide project leadership and expertise of large scale highly complex high profile and highrisk initiatives that may be multijurisdictional and/or enterprise wide.
Develop and administer measurement and reporting protocols for evaluation of the Digital and amp; Data Action plan with an aim to ensure outcomes are being achievedT
Support multiple teams across the cluster ensuring portfolio goals are reached
Work closely with Program Leads crossfunctional teams and assigned project managers to develop various portfolio management related processes in support of consistent practices across HSC:
o the program and amp; project management practices and nbsp;
o program and amp; project scope deliverables and roadmaps
o budget and resource planning particularly for crossobjective initiatives and teams and nbsp;
o metrics and amp; tracking benefits realization
Oversee the timelines developed tracked and managed by program managers for Digital and amp; Data Action Plan initiatives and nbsp;
Work with program managers to identify issues risks and opportunities across multiple projects/programs within the cluster
Organize the completion of progress and status reports from program managers for governance committees and action plan executive sponsors
Establish and implement effective and efficient portfolio and nbsp;management strategies in compliance with HSCs methodologies standards and frameworks.
Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer to HSCs designated staff to enable continuation in operational activities and sustainment
Track and report portfolio progress against identified success factors and key enablers
Other duties as assigned

OPTIONAL DELIVERABLES:

Establish and regularly review sequencing of highlevel activities within across programs where dependencies exist
Establish and coordinate secretariat functions processes and tools enabling program and portfolio oversight from executive leadership teams/committees across HSC
Collaborate with ministry partners stakeholders and vendors to support designing planning and implementing change initiatives. and nbsp;
Inform elaborate and help deliver solutions that simplify processes and improve enduser experiences.

Skills
Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Health sector and digital health experience: 20 points and nbsp; and nbsp;
and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Strong understanding of the healthcare system structures processes stakeholder groups and affected populations and how healthcare services are delivered in the province based on extensive experience with Ontarios health sector; and nbsp;
and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Strong track record of experience with the ministry and its delivery partners and indepth knowledge of the levers and instruments of change; and and nbsp;
and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Strong knowledge of and experience with the digital health systems programs vendors assets and solutions in Ontario. and nbsp;
Program and project management: 20 points and nbsp; and nbsp;
and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Extensive experience managing complex projects with a demonstrated track record of successful delivery within approved plan scope and budget and business outcomes; and nbsp;
and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Demonstrated leadership and resource management skills including the ability to direct activities and manage a variety of professionals; and and nbsp;
and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Strong working knowledge of project methodologies and standards (e.g. PMBOK) and tools (e.g. MS Project). and nbsp;

IT strategy and planning: 20 points and nbsp;
and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;Extensive track record of successful strategic planning in health technology contexts; and nbsp; and nbsp; and nbsp;
