Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Alexandria KY
Duration: 12months
Job Description;
- Troubleshoot diagnose and repair preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment including Scales Dumpers Mixers Cookers
Chillers Slicers Packaging Machines Conveyors Palletizers and Pallet Wrappers.
- Read and interpret blueprints ladder logic and electrical hydraulic and pneumatic schematics to improve systems and processes.
- Repair modify and enhance facility and production equipment using proper techniques.
- Utilize root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques to address equipment/system failures.
- Work with computer/PLC controlled equipment motor control systems servo motors and 3phase industrial electrical systems.
- Operate and troubleshoot mechanical systems including gear reducers chain/belt drives and pumping systems.
- Fabricate and weld various types of metals (a plus).
- Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for maintenance activities.
- Adhere to Tyson Foods safety policies including lockout tagout (LOTO) ArcFlash hot work permits and confined space entry.
- Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisors and Planners to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Participate in a teambased environment focused on Lean principles and exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or relevant industrial maintenance education.
- Strong comprehension and troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations as required for the role.
- Basic understanding of OSHA regulations.
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs.
- Willingness to work in a variety of environmental conditions including wet humid cold and hot settings.
- Flexibility to work off shifts weekends and holidays as needed.
Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment with minimal supervision.
