Key responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring equipment is available and online to meet production goals
Troubleshoot and make repairs to existing plant equipment install new equipment and building maintenance as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Maintain a positive attitude amidst unplanned events and a willingness to be flexible with work volume and type.
Willingness to contribute to the greater plant as a liaison to safety quality engineering or production programs.
Qualifications and skills
At least 3 years’ experience in an industrial maintenance environment required. Prior experience in a food manufacturing facility preferred.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving more complex maintenance issues without direct oversight preferred.
SKILLS: Mechanical repair general welding ability to use hand tools handheld power tools and basic computer skills
Must have the ability to work alone and in close cooperation with production personnel. Capable of working through complex problems alone or with others to provide logical solutions.
