Job Description
Job Title: Construction Manager Wind Energy
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee wind energy projects in the Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in managing largescale wind energy projects demonstrating strong leadership project management and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the construction phase of wind energy projects ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders including contractors engineers and regulatory bodies to drive project milestones.
- Oversee site activities and ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations.
- Plan schedule and monitor project timelines budgets and resources to optimize efficiency.
- Supervise site teams subcontractors and construction personnel providing clear guidance and support.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards and adherence to project specifications.
- Report on project progress challenges and solutions to senior management.
- Mitigate risks and implement proactive measures to address potential issues.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate and uptodate.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience managing wind energy construction projects preferably in largescale infrastructure or renewable energy sectors.
Education
Bachelor s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field); advanced degree preferred.
