Job Description
We are hiring a Staff Nurse Endoscopy Department in a Private Hospital in Dublin Ireland
.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides assigned hospital patients direct care.
- To make sure that patients using the endoscopy unit receive excellent nurse care while adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Carries out doctors orders for all assigned patients; gives prescriptions and treatments safely and appropriately.
- Alerts the relevant medical and nursing staff to any changes in the patients condition.
- Considers the patients response while evaluating the care provided.
- Tracks nursing care in the hospitals Meditech system and all allocated patient records.
Requirements
Be registered on the general division of the register of nurses maintained by NMBI and hold a current NMBI PIN
Have at least 1 years post registration experience in an acute hospital setting.
Qualification or experience in Endoscopy in an Irish Hospital
Have proven clinical and professional ability
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Have good IT skills with ability to use Microsoft packages e.g. Word Excel and Powerpoint etc.
Competency in the English language is a requirement for the post.
