Ensures compliance with all Quality Control requirements and provides leadership to drive continuous improvements in product quality.
Understand the importance of product safety legality authenticity and quality.
Tests products at specific stages in the production process and tests finished products for a variety of quality specifications packaging material and characteristics for adherence to specifications.
Records test data analyses and applies statistical quality control procedures.
Monitors all outputs for quality compliance including the disposition of the nonconforming product.
Assists in the investigation of customer complaint.
Conducts testing and assists the production department in achieving goodquality production goals
Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
Provides Quality training to other employees and also determines training needs and liaises with HR department to close them.
Determines negotiations and agrees on inhouse and externally verifiable quality procedures standards and specifications.
Assesses customer requirements and ensures that these are met including setting customer service standards
Support foods safety team towards internal and external audits for regulatory bodies or customers.
Ensures that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international levels.
Works with operations and production staff to establish procedures standards and systems.
Directs objectives to maximize profitability and monitors product and production performance.
Uses records analyses and statistical information to guide management decisions.
Carries out monitoring testing and inspection of products and materials to ensure the finished product meets quality standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree (B.Eng.) or HND in Microbiology or other relevant courses.
Minimum of 23 years experience as a beverage bottling company.
Budgeting and people management skills.
Knowledge of cocoa operations planning manufacturing quality environment engineering health and safety.
Familiarity with plant manufacturing operations and project planning.
Understanding of financial impact and cost benefits analysis.
