Job Description
A leading Engineering Repair and Logistics company serving the largest wireless telecommunications highspeed internet and cable providers in the country is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk. The company operates over 60 worldclass facilities in the U.S. with more than 14000 employees and has a global footprint of over 20000 employees worldwide.
This role is a 6month fulltime onsite position to cover for an employee on medical leave.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight and management of accounts payable (AP) processes for assigned verticals
- Perform AP review and payment oversight using wire transfers and other methods
- Reconcile AP balance sheet accounts
- Resolve inventory purchase order matching issues
- Prepare monthly AP account reconciliations
- Manage vendor communications desk addressing supplier payments and invoice queries
- Match and correct invoices within Oracle
- Assist the AP supervisor with special projects as needed
- Additional tasks as assigned by management
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting specifically accounts payable
- Experience with Oracle accounting software
- Strong reconciliation skills
