The Assistant Project Manager plays a pivotal role at RWE Design Build in planning coordinating and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. This multifaceted position involves working along side the Project Manager in budgeting scheduling ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations and effectively assisting on managing project teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the PM with all project direction planning completion and financial outcome. In order to succeed in this position the candidate must be organized and have excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Support the Project Manager in the planning and execution of a client project
- Ensure the project runs smoothly from start to finish
- Complete the daytoday tasks involved in planning and implementing a project
- Coordinating with vendors monitoring budget spending and collaborating with other departments
- 2 plus years of experience in project management
- Proficiency in ProCore or similar management software
- Manage all project documentation
- Prepare project schedule and manage deadlines
- Assist with estimation and bidding process
- Effectively communicate project progress to key stakeholders

Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Project Manager with a track record of independently managing Commercial Construction Projects. Proficiency in utilizing construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera, HeavyBid, Civil 3D for efficient project execution. Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines effectively. Flexibility to occasional travel to various project sites as required. Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines. Exceptional negotiation skills along with proficiency in contract management for successful project outcomes.
