Job Description
Job Title: Middleware JBoss Administrator
Location: Eindhoven Netherlands
Contract Duration: 12 months
Work Mode: Onsite or Hybrid (flexible)
Sponsorship: Optional (dependent on candidates requirements).
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Middleware JBoss Administrator to join our team in Eindhoven Netherlands. As a Middleware JBoss Administrator you will be responsible for the installation configuration and maintenance of JBoss application servers as well as ensuring high availability load balancing and clustering. You will work closely with development database and network teams to ensure seamless integration and support of production applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install configure and maintain JBoss application servers including load balancing clustering and high availability
- Ensure smooth integration with web servers (httpd nginx haproxy) and application servers (Weblogic Tomcat etc.)
- Manage SSL certificate configurations disaster recovery and patching activities
- Deploy and monitor applications set up environments and perform troubleshooting
- Collaborate with development database and network teams to resolve P1 and P2 incidents
- Utilize DevOps tools such as Jenkins GitLab and Ansible to automate tasks and improve efficiency
- Work on Linux platform commands and have experience with RHEL and Debian distributions
- Perform software installation and updates and have general automation experience
- Desirable experience with containerized environments cloud environments and tools such as Terraform Conjur UFT LoadRunner Octane and SV
- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven Gradle Make and package managers like NPM Conan NuGet Composer and RPM
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in middleware administration preferably with JBoss
- Experience with application servers (Weblogic JBoss Tomcat etc.) and web servers (httpd nginx haproxy)
- Strong knowledge of Linux commands and experience with RHEL and Debian distributions
- Understanding of application concepts like load balancing clustering high availability and SSL
- Experience with production application support and incident management (P1 P2)
- Good knowledge of installation configuration and maintenance of application servers
- Experience with web server and application server integration
- Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins GitLab and Ansible
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work in a fastpaced environment
